it is they who threaten the first black president of the u.s. and his family on a daily basis with assasination (by the way just because he’s black doesn’t mean i absolutely agree with everything he does at all, because i don’t, but they want to kill him first and foremost because he is a man with dark skin)
and this is but a tiny part of the history of their hate.
what they have done to people of color across the world
is… i don’t even know if you can call it hate, it’s so destructive.

the disrespect for women in society is just like disgusting! like how dare u!

growing up i thought (or rather was taught) that one as woman “se presta” or like asks for things like cat calls, and whistles and having to endure hearing a disgusting comment be told to u by a worker whose help u need at whatever establishment you are in. but as i grow older i realize what total bullshit that is. even my hijabi friends have said that they have been whistled at by men! i can be walking down the street with women wearing less than me and im in full jeans and loose tee (or even a full thick bubbly jacket) and i still have to ignore the fuck out of men who are trying to say something.

i was with my cousin at the mall dressed like regular (no shaming here but just making a lil point) we arent even giggling like crazy…we arent making a scene (like we usually do or could) like we are just there in the home appliances section. her mom wanted us to buy something on sale but there were two versions of the skillet she wanted so we took pics of the two to send it to her mom so she could let us know which one to buy. click click. then my cousin is all “hee heee take a pic of me holding the skillet so she can see my lil face” im like okiee. and obvi we had to get the shot right so i took a couple of clickss. and then out of no where this old bald fat man comes and starts talking to us… like wtf he should just stop there because a) he shouldnt be talking to us b) we are ignoring him. so idk wtf he is saying and i continue clicking and ignoring him. then he says louder “so u like cooking?” we are ignoring him. “do u love cooking?” and he repeated diff versions of that shit three times. like omigah i didnt know how to say go away! like wtf its not what u think and i shouldnt have to explain to u what im doing! the man wasnt with a daughter nor was he with a wife which in my mind would give me some reason to acknowledge you and above all he wasnt no where near our age. at least if u are around our age we can kinda excuse the immature behavior and kinda get ur intentions. dont put me in a situation where i feel like wtf like how dare u talk to us! clearly u werent tryna be funny because u coulda said something witty and walked away which is way better overall. like what is this shit that men feel that they can talk and make u feel uncomfortable?

and dont even let me get started on the SCHOOL ahem EDUCATIONAL function thing i went to and me and my friends were just posing for a pic no “sexy” poses or kissy face just regular smile and some old man snapped a pic of us behind our designated photgrapher like wtf i dont know u! my friend bitched at him but i should have been faster at reacting :(
